I run my SOAPware database on an SSD. I definitely saw significant speed improvement when I switched to SSD. No problems so far.

I have a Samsung Evo. Not the most expensive but it has worked well for me.

I currently use SW on their hosted system, but prior to that was running SW on my local computer which has SSD. This worked very well, and compared to past SATA drives, was significantly faster. There were no compatability issues of which I was aware.
